Do you know for sure that you will live with Me in Heaven forever?
I had a plan for humankind when I created the world, and I have a plan for your life. I would be sad if you went through life and never accepted My plan. You would miss out on God’s direction in your life, and eternal life with Me in Heaven.
Standing before God
One day you will stand before God. Imagine, on that day, that He would ask you, “Why should I allow you to live with Me in Heaven forever?”
How would you answer God? Before you go on, remember your answer.
What you should know
The world knows that 2,000 years ago I came from the town of Nazareth in what is now called Israel. I traveled through the region, and many people followed Me. A few years after I began My ministry, the religious leaders in Jerusalem falsely accused Me of crimes. They handed Me over to the Roman authorities. After a mock trial, they executed Me by nailing Me to a cross. They buried Me in a borrowed tomb. But I did not stay dead. I rose from the dead and went back to Heaven with God my Father. A short time later, My followers preached in My name, Jesus Christ, The message of My death, burial and resurrection. More and more believers were added to this movement, which has become the Christian church of today.
Even the greatest skeptic will agree with these facts. But there is so much more to Me than that. Where I came from, what I did on earth, and what I can do for you now is all revealed in the Bible. This book contains the only record of Me. I inspired the people who heard Me teach and saw My miracles to write My message. It also contains the only way to heaven. I said to my followers, “These things have I written unto you that you may know that you have eternal life.” Here is what the Bible says about Me:
I Am God
I was there in the beginning. I will tell you all about God the Father. I was face to face with Him throughout eternity, because I AM God.
I created the universe and all that is in it. I even created you. I do all the things that God the Father does. I have all life in Myself and give life to all My creation. I AM the life of God, Who is the Light to all who the lost in a dark, unloving world. My light shines in this dark world, but the darkness doesn’t even know that I exist. Commit yourself to My message I wrote in the Word of God. It is eternal and perfect. Learn My message. Believe My message. Share My message with others.
My birth happened like this
When Mary was engaged to Joseph before they had relations, she was discovered to be pregnant by God the Holy Spirit. Joseph, her future husband, was a good man and not wanting to see her put to shame, planned to divorce her quietly. But while he was thinking this over, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. The angel said, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife! She has conceived a Son through the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, whom you will call Jesus, ‘the Savior.’ Know that it is He who will save His people from their sins.” All this happened to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet—“Behold, a virgin shall conceive and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which means ‘God with us.’”
I came to the earth I created to save sinners
Anytime you disobey God; it is called sin. The price for sinning is death, but God, in his love, wants you to live. One night I met a leader named Nicodemus. This is what I told him. “The Father loved everyone in the world so much that He gave Me, His One and only Son, to die for each of them. Now everyone who believes in Me will not perish but will have eternal life. For the Father did not send Me to bring punishment to the people of the world, but that they might live forever through believing in Me. No one who believes in Me will die in sin, but those who refuse to believe in My name are already condemned.
The verdict is clear
I handed penalty of death down because My light has shined on the people of the world. But people love darkness more than My light because their actions are evil. Everyone who continually does evil things hates My light and rejects Me because I expose their wrong motives and deeds. I give life and salvation to those who believe in Me. Their faith shows that they know God.”
The death I talk about is eternal separation from God the Father in a place called Hell. Hell is a place where the fire is never put out. But God the Father loved you so much that He sent Me “His Son” to die, for your sins, on the cross. When you place your complete trust in Me, you will never perish, but you will have an eternal friendship with Me in Heaven. I want you to know that you can have the same eternal life I offered to Nicodemus when I said, “You must be born again.”
Do you agree with Me that you are a sinner?
I offer to heal all who believe in me, and I can heal you!
During My time on earth, I performed miracles. I healed the sick. I controlled the weather. I multiplied food. I even provided money when needed.
One day I came to the grave of my friend Lazarus. He had been dead four days. I sighed deeply. When I got to the tomb—a cave—with a stone sealing the opening, I said, “Take away the stone.”
Martha protested, “Lord, the body stinks. He’s been dead four days.”
I answered, “Have I not told you that if you believe, you’ll see the glory of God.” They rolled the stone away. Then I looked into heaven saying, “Father, I thank You for hearing Me before I pray, so that the people here will believe in Me.” Then I yelled with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” Lazarus came bound, hands and feet with pieces of cloth, and a cloth wrapped around his face. I told them, “Unwrap him and free him.”
Only God can raise the dead to life. I raised Lazarus to life after he had been dead four days. I will do the same for you so that you can live with Me in Heaven forever.
I changed lives; I can change yours!
People who follow Me turn away from their sins. While I was on this earth, I cast seven demons out of Mary Magdalene, and she became a devoted follower, telling others that I arose from the dead. Zaccheus, a tax collector, paid back people he cheated when collecting taxes and gave half of everything else to the poor.
I filled My followers with the power of the Holy Spirit. They were able to declare My message.
For nearly 2,000 years, I have been changing the lives of people all over the world. I can also change your life as well. I will give you the power to break sin’s addiction in your life, to renew your mind, and heal your hurts.
I want you to live with Me in Heaven forever
This is what I did for you. I came down out of heaven and took the form of a man. At the end of My life on earth, I took the punishment that you deserved and died on the cross for your sins. Now, because My blood covers your sins, I no longer hold them against you! The great news is that I didn’t stay dead. I rose from the grave and live in Heaven. I want you to live in heaven with Me too. You must only BELIEVE in Me!
Are you willing to…
- Trust Me completely for eternal life, knowing that you cannot save yourself?
- Believe that I took your place, and paid for all your sins on the cross?
- Repent of your sins and follow Me?
- Receive God the Father’s gift of eternal life through Me?
Pray this prayer and believe it:
Dear Jesus, I believe that you died for me. I admit that I have sinned and cannot save myself. Please forgive me of my sins. Help me to turn from my sins and follow you. Amen.
